DataPump Export (EXPDP) Fails With Errors ORA-31693 ORA-1 (Doc ID 783396.1)

Symptoms
While attempting to perform a DataPump export, it fails with multiple errors:
ORA-31693: Table data object "<SCHEMA>.<TABLE>" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
ORA-00001: unique constraint (<SCHEMA>.<CONSTRAINT> ) violated
ORA-06512: at "SYS.KUPF$FILE", line 2591
The alert log shows:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgscGetCursor+06b4] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x7FF0000000000000] [] []
ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded

Cause
The system was not properly configured. The OS limits were incorrectly set and the swap space was undersized.
If the basic requirements of the installation are not met, various errors and non-expected behavior can and will be encountered.
Solution
1. Correct the swap area. For a system only running an Oracle database, it should be configured as follows:
If RAM = 1024MB to 2048Mb
then 1.5 times RAM
elseif RAM > 2048MB and < 8192MB
then match RAM
else RAM > 8192MB
then .75 times RAM
Please note the swap may need to be larger if multiple databases or other applications are running on the same host
2. Ensure the OS Limits are set correctly.
3. Reboot the server to have limits take effect.
4. Perform the export.
